1. Who we are
Luna Beauty Parlour is operated by Jing Xi Limited (company number 15664378), 170 Kensington High Street, London W8 7RG ("we", "us", "our"). We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.
Questions about this policy or your personal data: lunabeautykensington@gmail.com or 020 7967 0216.
2. What information we collect
Contact and identity details — your name, phone number and email address, when you book an appointment, submit our contact form, call us, or message us.
Appointment and treatment information — the services you book, your appointment history, your stylist or therapist preferences, colour formulas, and notes that help us look after you on return visits.
Health and consultation information — where a treatment requires it, we record information such as patch test results, allergies and skin sensitivities, relevant medical conditions, and (for certain treatments such as massage) pregnancy status. This is special category data under UK data protection law and we handle it with extra care, as described in section 4.

Website and forms — our website is hosted by Squarespace, which processes form submissions and site data on our behalf.
Payment providers — to process payments securely.
Professional advisers and insurers — where necessary for legal, accounting or insurance purposes.
Some of our providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, transfers are protected by UK adequacy decisions or appropriate safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Agreement.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking — up to 12 months.
Client records, appointment history and treatment notes (including patch test and consultation records) — for as long as you remain a client and for up to 6 years after your last visit, in line with limitation periods for legal claims and our insurance requirements.
Marketing preferences — until you opt out or your record is deleted.
When records are no longer needed, they are securely deleted.
7. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to: access a copy of your personal data; correct inaccurate data; ask us to delete your data; restrict or object to certain processing; data portability; and withdraw consent at any time where consent is our legal basis (including for marketing and health information).
To exercise any right, contact us at [email address]. We will respond within one month.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to resolve any concern first.
